Guide to Land Investment in Arizona

2010 is the year of Green. Everybody and everything is going Green. But there is something everyone has missed.

Land has always been Green! Investment in land is an investment in a living, breathing piece of Mother Nature's Green. Something that lives and grows while it appreciates in value.

Land is the purest form of Green there is, so buy a piece and help the cause. And hurry because they aren't making any more of it.

Land investors have different needs and concerns than those of typical real estate investors: zoning, planning, and environmental issues are just a few of the challenges.  Normally, land doesn't produce the instant gratification seen with residential appreciation - but still can be a lucrative venture.

This Guide to Arizona Land Investments will be updated regularly throughout 2010, and I'll try to provide web and print resources that will answer most of your questions.

2010:  Pivotal in our History

Syndicated columnist and author Thomas L. Friedman believes this is the dawning of what he terms the Energy-Climate Era, the convergence of 3 trends:  global warming, the emergence of a world middle-class, and population growth.  In his new book, Hot, Flat and Crowded, he envisions a solution involving total commitment to developing and using alternative forms of energy and reducing CO2 emissions.

Among these changes will be big increases in wind and solar power (to replace coal-fired plants), research on developing cellulosic ethanol and other clean farm products for fuel uses, and commitments to feed the "aspiring Americans" in the developing countries.

Definitely, 2010 will be a watershed year for land investors.  Watch this page for new information, and contact me with any questions about buying Arizona land.
